Dual radio unit with 23 dBm 802.11 mesh enabled radio for 5.8 GHz which functions as an intra-network repeater, router and as a gateway via Ethernet to an Internet point of presence; a dedicated 23 dBm 802.11b/g radio for 2.4GHz Access Point portion.
5.8GHz section uses 8.5 dBi Omni while access point transmits through 5 dBi Omni.
Depending on type and quality of client side radio, general guideline for connectivity is approximately 1,000 feet diameter per "node". Maximum number of nodes per "cluster" should be limited to 5 or 6.
