TRANZEO SECURITY
Our Approach Design–We design with our price-sensitive customers in mind.
–We educate ourselves on what makes our customers successful and apply that knowledge to our products and services.
–We have our own in-house certified FCC testing facility to reduce design time.
–Wherever possible, we standardize our platforms and use industry-standard components rather than more expensive customized parts.
–We leverage our in-house expertise to continually increase our product offerings, to provide the latest available innovations and end-to-end solutions to our customers.
–We continuously work to increase the performance and reliabilityof our products while keeping their price to a minimum.
Manufacturing–We constantly review our processes to find ways to work smarter.
–We rely on in-house production rather than third-party manufacturers, giving us an edge in quality, cost and inventory control.
–We use software to program in customer specifications, reducing our manufacturing costs.
–We do all our key manufacturing at our Pitt Meadows facility, which allows us to build and ship systems within 3 -5 business days from time of order.

- Applications for Tranzeo Products
- Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) deployments
- Network segment extensions
- Surveillance Cameras (traffic monitoring, etc.)
- Hotspot deployments (Airports, Hotels, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, etc.)
- Monitoring Ethernet devices (weather stations, sewage plants, pumping stations, hydro stations, etc.)

Bridging vs. Routing
PtP and PtMP Point-to-Point (PtP)
–Used for Backhaul between towers
–Networks with only 2 connection points
Most of Tranzeo’sradios (except CPEs) can be configured in 3 modes –PtP, PtMP(Access Point), or CPE
Point-to-Multi-Point (PtMP)–Larger scale wireless deployments
–Multi-user networks
Fresnel Zones

Antenna Heights
Antenna Height Requirements for Outdoor Links The height of an antenna depends on many factors:
Throughput / AirspeedThere is an important distinction between these terms:
–Airspeedis the total amount of data the radios can pass between each other
•In 5.8GHz -maximum raw data rate of 54 Mbps which yields realistic net achievable throughput in the mid-20 Mbps. (double in Turbo mode which allows for only 2 non-overlapping channels)
•In 2.4GHz –maximum raw data rate of 11Mbps which yields realistic net achievable throughput of 5Mbps.
–Throughputis actual amount of real traffic that is measured coming out the Ethernet port on the radio
Using Bandwidth
Bandwidth Shaping–Looks at traffic in the pipe and adjusts for maximum efficiency–Time dependant packets get priority–New industry standard term Quality of Service* (QoS)*Designed for Voice Traffic*Can be invoked from Tranzeo firmware
Bandwidth Control–Limits users based on total traffic amount–Allocates a certain portion of the total pipe–NetEqualizerunits; 2 to 155Mbps pipe sizesBandwidth
Polarization
PolarizationHorizontal vs. Vertical
Horizontal Benefits
•+20 db from most sources of ISM (Industry, Scientific and Medical Band)noise
•Better multipathresults
Vertical Benefits
•Less Expensive
•In the past it was easier to find Vertical Equipment
Interference Countermeasures
1. Try to keep links short, as Fresnelzone increases over distance
2. Avoid the noise by using tight Beam Antennas
3. Use a different Frequency or polarization
4. Try a different Antenna
5. Move the Antenna to a different location

True Mesh Benefits
The dual-radio EnRoute500 serves as WiFiAP with a dedicated 802.11b/g radio, an intra-network repeater and router with a dedicated 802.11a mesh enabled radio, and as a gateway via Ethernet to an Internet POP -sometimes referred to as multipoint-to-multipoint network layout.
